Since April 2023, McKenna has worked as a Cash Posting Specialist for a large medical device and technology company. Her supervisor raves about her performance and says that McKenna was quick to not just do exceptionally well in her role, but also surpass expectations! The company can count on McKenna to always have a positive attitude and do whatever is needed!

Enjoy this Q&A with McKenna to learn more about her!

In a couple sentences, tell us about your job and what have you enjoyed most about it?

I handle the cash posting for the company. I manage all the incoming money and get it posted into our system, as well as reconciling overpayments and such. I am currently tasked with mailing paper claims and appeals packets out as well. What I enjoy most is the people I work with, they are all so welcoming and wonderful people to see day to day, we really have a great time together and help each other out.

Have you picked up any new skills or talents in your current role that have benefited your career?

In this role, I have worked more in depth with excel spreadsheets and I have learned the Bonifide system in and out which can be translated to other similar systems.

In your opinion, what makes the Pacific Northwest a great place to live and work?

I love living and working in the Pacific Northwest, it is truly the best place in the world to me. I love the people, the environment, the views, there is nothing better.

What do you enjoy spending your time doing outside of work?

Outside of work I like to hike and rock climb, as well as paint and sing.

In your opinion, what are the benefits of working for a staffing company like PACE?

I had never worked for a staffing agency before but I have to say I recommend it, they helped me find a wonderful job, but even if they hadn’t, they would be able to help find me a new one once my contract is up as well.

While on assignment, how often does your recruiter check-in with you to see how you are experiencing your job?

My recruiter checks in with me roughly once every two weeks I think while I am on assignment. She is extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions I might have.
