We love shinning the spotlight on all of our teammembers, even those who don’t always have a lot of front end interface. Deanna is our Assistant Controller and manages all aspects of our back end accounting, government reporting, and the administrative elements of our HR functions. She runs a weekly payroll for our field associates, pays all our bills, and publishes reports of how the business is performing for our owner and the management team. In a very short time after her hire in 2022, Deanna has become an integral part of our entire operation and we’ve certainly noticed her passion for learning, her personality that is always volunteering to take on more, and how good she is at a PACE staple – collaboration. We’re so grateful to have Deanna on our team, contributing not only her financial acumen but also her positive energy!

When we sat down to have a conversation with Deanna about this bio, she shared her excitement about working in the staffing industry, highlighting the joy of constantly learning something new. Despite being new to the industry, she finds it intriguing to explore the underpinnings of the people side of business. Deanna graduated from WSU, where she initially studied Wildlife Ecology, and later affiliated with SNHU online, where she delved into the world of accounting.

When Deanna steps away from her financial wizardry, she finds joy in spending time with her family, including her husband Justin and their two children, Gillyan and Wyatt.

She also loves indulging in a good read, participating in runs to earn those coveted “I did it” medals and exploring new destinations through travel. Deanna and her family has one feline friend named Molly.

While not currently volunteering, Deanna has a history of giving back. She has volunteered at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and the Tacoma Humane Society, showcasing her commitment to making a positive impact in her community.

Deanna’s favorite travel destinations include Europe and Mexico, and says shes always open to revisiting some of the places she loves.

Deanna is also a BIG sports fan. She and her family cheer for the Seattle Kraken in hockey and the Seattle Seahawks in football. She also likes the Kansas City Chiefs but don’t tell anyone wearing the blue and green!
