Meet Mike Gunther!

Mike Gunther

Meet Mike Gunther, who is one of our most seasoned Recruiters with a very impressive and decade-long journey since joining the PACE team. Mike came to PACE with a strong background in account management and just completing a year long “contract” role at Microsoft on their recruiting team.  Mike’s enthusiasm, dedication, and passion for making a difference in people’s lives truly set him apart for us when we hired him. None of that has changed!

Last September, Mike celebrated a decade with PACE, working in both employer and candidate facing roles. His clients cover a diverse range of Northwest industries – from manufacturing, technology, to healthcare – and a whole lot of “everything in between!”

Mike’s boss considers his ability to find candidates with specific skillsets and fulfill specialized or unique business needs, makes him a key player on our recruiting team. When asked, this is what Mike’s boss had to say about him – “Having hired and worked with Mike for 10 years…his ability to find a “needle in a haystack” candidate continues to astonish me to this day! If you have a difficult, one-off position to fill, Mike’s your guy!  He’s dedicated, hardworking, very conscientious and an asset to our team! I consider myself lucky to have someone so tenured to partner with!”

Mike Gunther - Family

Outside of work, Mike is a music enthusiast and a vinyl records collector. He cherishes family time with his son, Jaxon, creating new adventures and experiences with his wife, Stacey. Stacy is a well known local musician and hosts an annual charity concert benefiting Toys For Tots, showcasing Mike and Stacey’s commitment to giving back to the community.

Being a WA state native, Mike is a big fan of most local sports.  He’s particularly excited about having professional hockey in the PNW. Golf and the occasional tennis match also make it to his list of hobbies.  And oh yes, there are those craft beers he loves to taste and compare notes with his friends. It’s no wonder one of his favorite family trips was a recent one to New Orleans, where the whole family fell in love with the southern hospitality, great food and fantastic music!
