About Our Skill and Aptitude Assessments!
Our menu of candidate assessment tools to help you make the right hiring decisions!
Professional skill and aptitude assessments help you nail down a candidate’s CAN and WANNA DO's!
- Aptitude Assessments – measures a candidate’s natural abilities, behavioral tendencies, and/or potential to learn and perform certain types of work. These types of assessment tools focus on innate tendencies and cognitive abilities, rather than current knowledge or skills and can be used to predict a candidate’s likely success in contexts or roles that they may not have encountered before.
- Skill Assessments – measures a candidate’s current level of proficiency doing specific tasks or activities. Skill assessments are used when you want to make sure a candidate can do the work, deliver the results expected. They can also be used to identify areas for training and development.
Why do these differences matter?
Skill assessments make sure a candidate can step in and do the job on day 1. Aptitude assessments make sure you’re working with a candidate with potential – their ability and motivation to acquire the skills and knowledge they need to deliver value down the road! Our job is to find both the CAN DOs and the WANNA DOS!
